Event CASE STUDY Making assistance a lifestyle About the project “Assistance as a lifestyle” was an event organized by Asistence o.p.s and the Václav Havel Library. The main goal of Asistence o.p.s. is to help disabled people in Prague become free and independent through individual assistance and social rehabilitation. The organization helps about 250 people who suffer from physical or combined disability. Besides individual assistance, Asistence o.p.s. focuses on the everyday environment, and its long-term mission is to eliminate the barriers people with disabilities face in daily life.
