The building has classroom space for Math, English, Music and Fine Arts, the College’s Learning Center and a recital hall. It serves the College’s mission of becoming a regional center for continuing and higher education. Built between trees and wetlands, the building connects the community spaces on campus to the natural environment. A breezeway allows students to pass through the building from the campus into the forest and leads them to an observation platform looking out on wetlands. Native mosses cover the roof and C/S Perforated Sun Controls help reduce glare and solar heat gain while still letting diffused daylight enter. Rainwater is collected and dive
