Machine productivity and efficiency was being impacted by the increased frequency of equipment maintenance. Solution Kadant supplied three M-clean forming fabric cleaning systems. One for the primary and one for the secondary Bel-Bond. The third is a spare which the mill plans to rotate with the installed beams when maintenance is required. Maintenance is expected to be infrequent because the new beam design is optimized for reliable operation and minimal wearing components.
