When cleaning while the machine was operating, the operators faced increased risk and the results were marginally effective. The customer experienced internal and external quality rejects due to dirty and plugged fabric. Solution Kadant installed a simple version of the M-clean fabric cleaning system because dryness wasn’t a concern.
