Peter Brett (PBA) | London 2012 Olympics London 2012 Olympics Transport for London (TfL) appointed PBA as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the planning for the London 2012 Games. One of the major challenges that London faced was the risk of serious travel disruption caused by more than six million spectators and the impact of route changes required for the Olympic Route network and Paralympic Route Network. Major changes were made to the road system, including: a series of priority Games Lanes operating from 6am to midnight, banned turns, reversal of traffic direction, changes to junction controls and kerbside waiting, and suspension of bus stops and bus lanes.
