VSH Tectite Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is the oldest school of its kind and was founded in 1898 by a Liverpool ship owner, Sir Alfred Lewis Jones, to investigate diseases affecting his employees. It became the first institution in the world primarily devoted to tropical health. The refurbishment of the newly acquired Wolfson Building at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine had its hot and cold water installation facilitated by VSH Tectite Classic.
