Leids University Medical Center Uses DKM KVM Matrix to Distribute Signals for New Linear Accelerator (LINAC)

Leids University Medical Center in the Netherlands upgraded its Clinical Oncology/Radiotherapy department while installing a new linear accelerator. To replace its outdated VGA-based systems, the hospital implemented Black Box’s DKM FX HD Video and Peripheral Matrix Switching system. This solution allows seamless switching between operating systems, easy control of displays, and quick toggling between clinical and service modes. By centralizing servers in secure cabinets, it reduced heat, noise, and clutter in treatment rooms. The scalable setup improved efficiency, safety, and flexibility, enabling smooth future expansions and creating a cleaner, more reliable environment.
