It offers developmental programs for children 6 weeks old to 5 years of age. A green cleaning policy was implemented in the Child Development Center to protect the most vulnerable building occupants from hazardous cleaning chemicals. Being located on a campus, the Naval Academy wanted to encourage alternative forms of transportation; therefore, bike racks are located in front of the building and designated spaces are allocated for low- emitting and fuel efficient vehicles.
