Clifford Devlin were appointed by London Borough of Lambeth's ALMO, Lambeth Living, to provide planned, responsive and emergency asbestos remediation to cover its stock of 21,000 affordable homes. We work closely with building contractors Mears and Keepmoat to facilitate planned internal and external refurbishment works. For internal works we liaise with Resident Liaison Officers to arrange access to occupied housing to remove asbestos containing materials (ACMs) such as floor tiles, textured coatings, insulation board (AIB) in boxing and riser panels and boiler gaskets. Licenced work is carried out under fully controlled conditions from insid airtight enclosures with residents decanted during the work.
