Background Acting as principal contractor, Axis completed a conversion project with the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. 16 garages, that were backing onto maisonette flats, were converted into 8 living rooms with extended outdoor space. Also, nearby, 6 first floor drying rooms were converted into bedrooms. Both works were undertaken in occupied residential blocks located within housing estates.
