Kendal Town Library was opened in 1906 within the centre of the Cumbrian town and was a welcome addition to Kendal’s rich architectural heritage. This impressive building that has large imposing windows, an important element in its original design to allow as much natural light as possible, remains at the heart if the Lakeland community and delivers vital services to young and old. In order to continue this, it has recently undergone a renovation programme which has included the replacement of its boiler to deliver more efficient heating and hot water. project profile PSA were the consultants on the project with Roland Hill Limited taking on the M&E contract.
