Karlstad University rapidly shifted to mobile computing, with laptops rising from 50% to 99% of endpoints in four years, which increased security workload and made on-prem updates slow and manual. After evaluating several vendors, it chose Bitdefender GravityZone for cloud-based, single-console management and low performance impact, protecting about 1,800 endpoints across laptops, PCs, Macs, and servers on and off campus.
