Case Study The future of an ‘Outstanding’ specialist language college on the outskirts of Leicester has been secured following a £16m investment under the City Council’s BSF scheme. Despite inclement weather which hampered the initial part of the project the school was handed over on time at the beginning of June 2009. Having recently achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted and with a brand new, technologically equipped state of the art teaching and learning facility at their disposal the 1,200 place college is all set for a bright future and is not surprisingly already oversubscribed.
