Project Page: JEM Shopping Mall JEM Shopping Mall Jurong used to be the industrial area in Singapore. Since 5 years ago, the Government made a new blueprint to the development of Jurong Area. One of the main developments is to build hotels and high end shopping malls in this district. JEM is among the first batch of high end shopping mall being built under this plan. Lendlease being the project management team of this project adopted Cementaid as waterproofing system in this project based on two reasons: 1. JDC, the Contractor used top-down construction method in this project. For a 3 levels basement and next to the Main MRT Interchange, using membrane under top-down would be a disaster. 2. It is located in the centre of Jurong Town, therefore working space and working hours are limited.
