JAWA POWER-YTL POWER PLANT, INDONESIA In addition to developing alternative energy and renewable energy through domestic biogas, micro hydro power plants and solar powered lighting, Jawa Power-YTL now has a roof-top solar PV power plant with a capacity of 51 kWp supplied by Canadian Solar. The solar PV plant was built in the residential area of Jawa Power-YTL employees in Paiton, Probolinggo, and was officially inaugurated on Thursday, 27 October 2016. The solar plant, which is currently the largest capacity installed in East Java, were designed by the Company in partnership with the German international development institution, GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbait GmbH).
