A leading Japanese automotive OEM partnered with Capgemini to transform its Finite Element Analysis (FEA) processes, aiming to improve efficiency, standardize workflows, and enhance quality. Through a collaborative review, Capgemini identified automation opportunities in pre-processing, analysis, and post-processing phases. The implemented automation solution led to significant time savings: 98% in connector element creation, 90% in fastener meshing, and 97% in auto-report generation for FEA results. The success of the 3.5-month project freed up engineers for more value-added work and paved the way for future automation efforts.
