India’s largest electricity utility needed a secure, efficient way to provide operators remote access to 16 servers and LVS machines in its control room. Black Box deployed the ServSwitch CX KVM Switch, supporting four users with 1920 x 1200 HD video, user authentication, and seamless switching over CAT5e up to 164 feet. A custom Freedom KM solution extended keyboard and mouse signals 130 feet, enabling centralized access to LVS systems. The setup streamlined workflows, boosted productivity, and improved comfort by eliminating the need for operators to leave desks. Pleased with results, the utility plans to expand nationwide.
