After the initial opening of the Central Link segment in 2009, Sound Transit continuesto extend its system in all directions as part of the ST2 and ST3 Plans. LTK supported Sound Transit throughout its procurement of the first 62 light rail vehicles (LRV), and was selected to continue its engineering and inspection services for the new procurement of 122 LRVs (the ST2 LRVs).
