New Light Rail Fleet in Toronto Procuring light rail vehicles for several new Transit City lines in Toronto. Metrolinx expanded its light rail service with several new lines in Toronto and its suburbs, and needed commercial and technical assistance to acquire up to 182 low-floor, light rail vehicles. LTK assisted Metrolinx in the procurement process, which included commercial and technical support during carbuilder negotiations, evaluation of technical and price proposals, and the development of independent cost estimates.
