A top 20 pharma company developing treatments for rare blood disorders used IQVIA’s Expert Ecosystem to expand its KOL engagement. The platform enabled identification of experts with both academic credibility and digital influence, combining datasets to streamline searches and perform gap analysis. From this, 22 rising star KOLs and 48 digital opinion leaders were identified, with 14 rising stars profiled—8 of whom were also active DOLs. Linking academic and digital profiles allowed leadership to craft tailored engagement strategies, ensuring focus on dual-skill experts for more meaningful stakeholder dialogue.
