HULA Improves Processes and Patient Care with Process Mining
Hospital Universitario Lucus Augusti (HULA) in Spain faced challenges managing vast amounts of patient data from over 800,000 consultations annually. Disparate data sources made accessing and integrating information difficult. HULA partnered with TIBCO to implement process mining using the Connected Intelligence Platform, which integrated structured and unstructured data for a comprehensive view of patient journeys. This enabled early detection, better diagnostic protocols, and improved treatment efficiency. As a result, HULA reduced treatment costs, sped up diagnoses, and enhanced patient care.
