HEFCW The Brief RUMM was tasked with providing strategic planning support and project management to oversee the installation of aM&T systems to 80% of the Universities across Wales. This sector is overseen by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW). The aim of the remit was to reduce electricity, gas and water consumption at each institution by 5% over a 12 month period. The Method RUMM undertook site surveys at each institution, generated bespoke plans for meter installations, procured instrumentation, organised and managed install teams, commissioned completed aM&T systems and in some cases dealt with utility suppliers to ensure pulse connections were available from billing meters.
