Halls Bayou Trail
Challenge Halls Bayou in Houston, TX is a densely wooded enhanced flood drainage canal collecting storm water that eventually joins up with Greens Bayou. The area is prone to heavy rain, making nearly impossible for visitors to trek through the thick mud to explore the area. With large stretches of greenspace traversing 17 miles and no trail to link the two spaces, there was a need for better integration and access, tying one area of the bayou to another. For Clark Condon Associates, finding a solution durable enough to withstand the humid, unforgiving environment was top of mind.
