By using Google Cloud’s C3 instances, Gunpowder achieved up to 52% better performance per dollar compared to previous instances, reducing rendering time and costs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gunpowder enabled remote VFX work through high-performance cloud computing. With the new C3 instances, they provided faster rendering, allowing artists to complete more iterations and refine their work. These advancements support VFX studios with tight deadlines and budgets, helping them deliver high-quality digital content efficiently.
