Grupo Eroski
Overview Grupo Eroski, a Spanish supermarket chain founded in 1969, has nearly 1,000 outlets spread across Spain (excluding franchises). Challenge Back in 2014, Grupo Eroski began the process to migrate the mailboxes of its 6,000 users from GroupWise to Office 365. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the reliability of Dell Quest—the migration software Grupo Eroski chose to use. First, the process for us- ing the software was far too complex and re- quired a broad knowledge of both cloud and on-premises systems. Second, because of the risk of data loss, the company could not ensure compliance with regulations that required that all of their electronic communication data be preserved. For these reasons, and to ensure a secure and easy migration, Grupo Eroski switched to
