The heating upgrade at The Pleydells features individual Shoebox ground source heat pumps installed within each property and connected to shared ground loops. System Architecture Kensa’s borehole micro-district system architecture employed at The Pleydells is classified as a district heating system under the definition set by Ofgem and therefore allows Bromford Housing to be eligible for funding through the ECOand also the Non Domestic RHI.
