Case History An independent oil and gas company operating in the Williston basin needed to remove 40 frac seats from a multistage ball drop system to start producing the well. The frac sleeves started in a horizontal 4½-in. liner at 8,885 ft (2708 m) and continued to a total measured depth (TMD) of 18,075 ft (5509 m).
