Over a four-month pilot, Lighthouse tested Purview’s sensitivity labeling, data loss prevention, insider risk management, and Defender for Cloud Apps across the client’s Microsoft 365 environment. The team configured and validated more than 10 data protection policies, identified six sensitive information types, and developed a comprehensive Report Card and Recommendations report. This led to the client adopting Purview E5 licenses, building a flexible data protection program that automated classification, labeling, alerts, and workflows, ultimately accelerating its data protection maturity.
