PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An 11,000 square-foot custom home with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a four-car garage located in the affluent north Dallas suburb of Preston Hollow, this $6 million dollar residence was inspired by the Italian Renaissance. In addition to the clay tile roof, and limestone, wood and marble flooring, the architectural vision was brought to life by Venetian plaster walls and coved ceilings created with QUIKRETE ® Scratch and Brown Fiber Reinforced Stucco. Silver Star Plastering selected the QUIKRETE ® stucco because it prevented visible control joints in the large wall panels and provided strong adhesion, which minimized any sag in the coved ceilings.
