FootesLaneStadium Guernsey CASE STUDY This facility in Guernsey needed improvements ready for when it shall host the Island Games in 2021. The event will see around 3,000 competitors from 24 islands around the world take part. Completed in September 2019, the main task was to extend the track from 6 lanes to 8 lanes and also achieve World Athletics standards and specification. A full replacement and extension of the old ‘p o ro u s’ track surface with a new non-porous ‘s a n dw ic h’ CONIPURSW system was completed . The main running track covers 5110m2 and was finished in Teal Blue.
