CASE STUDY FIRESTATION EXPANSION WITH THE UpGrade SYSTEM T he Solution: Modular Genius partnered with Whitley Manufacturing to provide a two story firehouse meeting all the needs of a busy station. The buildings include offices, meal prep, dining, shower and rest rooms, sleeping facilities, and even an old fashioned fire pole . Whitley’s UpGrade modules were chosen to serve as the fire engine bay. The unique folding UpGrade building system could accommodate the largest fire fighting equipment, provide ceiling height in excess of twenty feet, and could be relocated to another site once the existing fire station remodeling was complete .
