Bridgestone Company, founded in 1931 in Japan, started a new production line for ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) film in Zarow, Poland. EVA film is used in the production of solar panels to protect the photovoltaic cells in the panel from harmful UV light and to fasten the silicon cell to the glass surface.
