THE CHALLENGE Narborough Road South, through Braunstone town, is a busy dual carriageway and one of the busiest routes into Leicester. Running parallel to each side of the main carriageway are two directional service roads separated by a narrow verge area. Working alongside Leicestershire Highways Officers (LHO) we managed the removal of 3km of wire mesh metal fencing that was positioned in both narrow verge areas and replaced with aesthetically pleasing low maintenance fencing.
