Insiel, the in-house ICT company of Italy's Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) Region, used the Denodo Platform to build a Data Marketplace that significantly enhanced the flexibility and adaptability of its data architecture. Facing the challenge of integrating a vast amount of disparate data from approximately 120 different sources totaling over 370 GB, Insiel needed to efficiently make this data accessible to a broad range of users—including public employees, municipalities, health services, hospitals, and citizens—without requiring deep technical expertise. The Denodo Platform enabled seamless integration of heterogeneous, structured and unstructured data without replication, delivering unified data through a single platform to BI tools and data consumers.
