Overview Zenith Gulf Security Systems began working with the Dubai Police in 2007, when Zenith first approached the police to introduce a new mo- bile ANPR solution. Previously, an officer with a printed list of wanted plates would comb through parking lots and garages full of cars and occasionally find a match. Now they have instant access to the latest data. Due to the success of ANPR, the Dubai Police has since expanded their capability with version 2 of the system, which offers an even wider range of detection for wanted plates and incorporates 360 degree video surveillance, all embedded discretely in the patrol car’s roof-mounted light bar.
