First Citizens Bank, part of First Citizens BancShares with over 560 branches in 19 states, launched MX-powered digital money management tools called Manage My Money to help customers strengthen their finances. To drive adoption, the bank first rolled out the tools internally to over 5,000 employees with a fun, engaging campaign that included scavenger hunts, games, and storytelling. Within four days, 919 employees registered and 252 linked external accounts. When extended to customers, 125,000 signed up within three months, representing 27% of the customer base, proving the internal-first strategy fueled strong external engagement.
