Having been the home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club since 1871, the ground required extensive development consisting of a Reception on the ground floor, club offices on the second floor, and space for radio and television journalists on the third floor. The fourth floor was for Commercial use. Robinson planned, designed and erected a four storey structure on the edge of the Cricket ground. Exceptional management was required due to the site having very tight access for the structural steelwork and associated plant deliveries. Robinson supported and eased the very tight Commercial and logistical problems whilst maintaining the site programme requirements.
