DAF Trucks, a commercial vehicle manufacturer in the Netherlands, improved its efficiency and customer service by digitizing its invoicing processes with DocuWare. Processing 600,000 outgoing and 450,000 incoming invoices annually, the company automated document workflows, reducing paper usage, speeding up invoice verification, and improving service for dealers and suppliers. The system integrated with their ERP and enabled a digital portal for outgoing invoices. By 2011, over five million documents were stored in the central pool, leading to significant time savings, reduced costs, and improved transparency across departments globally.
