Crossrail is the largest construction project in London as 21km of tunnels and 110km of tracks are installed to link Reading in the West to Sheneld in the East. John Anthony Signs was chosen to manufacture and install all of the waynding signage for one of the largest Crossrail stations at Canary Wharf. Retail areas are planned for 4 of the 6 storeys along with a landscaped park, restaurants and community facilities on the top oor. The station is covered by an elegant, semi open air timber lattice roof allowing views out over the dock, Canary Wharf and beyond. The project included wall mounted directories, level identiers, free standing totems, projecting signs, banners, lecterns and both wall mounted and ceiling hung waynding across 6 levels.
