Crossing Church and Centre, Worksop Rolton Group was appointed to provide mechanical and electrical engineering services on the all- embracing religious facility on the basis of a traditional (detailed design) basis. The project consisted of a sanctuary, general purpose and sports hall, crèche, information technology (IT) suite, café, kitchen, dance studio and office and meeting /conference facilities. The client’s aspiration for the project was to create ‘a place of worship, prayer and friendship.’ The café was designed to create and provide an open door to the community as a base for partners to further their community projects and opportunities.
