XCMG Research Institute partnered with Lenovo to modernize its R&D infrastructure using Lenovo ThinkSystem servers powered by 2nd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. Facing performance bottlenecks in simulations due to growing demands, XCMG needed a new HPC solution. Lenovo delivered a custom high-performance computing cluster that improved compute and storage capacity, reduced application lag, and shortened development cycles. This modernization boosted R&D productivity and scalability. XCMG plans to expand its HPC cluster to over 200 nodes to support more complex CAE workloads and global market competitiveness.
