CASE STUDY CREATING A WOODEN CLAD COMPOUND FOR RESIDENTS OF A HOUSING ASSOCIATION Lockit-safe worked with ACD, who are a main contractor, on a development for a Housing Association. Secure cycle parking was needed for the residents but aesthetics were important. The residents were worried was that a steel compound structure would stand out too much within a residential setting. OUR SOLUTION The solution was to go for a wooden clad compound that had a more organic look. The wood would weather over time to blend even more into its surroundings. Our Wave compound holds 20 cycles. It was made secure with a Borg lock that requires coded entry yet needs no power to run, so is low maintenance without compromising on security.
