Contra Costa College New College Center Overview Contra Costa Community College demolished existing learning facilities, buildings, and parking structures to create the job site for the new complex. This project included the construction of two new buildings— Student andAdministration Building and the General Education Building —as well as building improvements to the existing Central Plant. The new Classroom Building includes 11 classrooms, 4 computer labs, a 200-seat tiered lecture hall, and administrative and faculty offices. The new Student Activities Building consolidates the campus’ Student Life, Culinary Arts, Food Services, Bookstore, Fireside, Administration, Business Services, Research and Planning, Marketing, Economic Development and Grants, Faculty Senate, Career Tech Education
