Coes Outfitters, High Street, Maldon, Essex Awnings D C Construction were involved with a full fascia and shopfront replacement at Coes clothing shop in Maldon High Street. They needed to replace the ancient awnings and the project designer had a call for a series of ‘built-in’ shop awnings. The Main Contactor built shop fitters boxes within the fascia to our specification, and we installed 6 Weinor N2000 awnings. Operation was by means of SOMFY RTS motors, with a 7 channel remote control. This allowed individual as well as group control of the awnings. 2 light sensors were used, one to each elevation, which were programmed so the awnings deployed at the correct light level.
