Using the shared experience of cinema to celebrate togetherness and reward local communities during the festive season. What? Co-op hosted free, nationwide screenings of the children’s Christmas classic Elf, giving Co-op members, local community staff and members of the public an early Christmas gift. Screenings took place in more than 70 UK cinemas, with complimentary Co-op food and drink enjoyed by guests. Impact? More than 14,000 free cinema tickets were claimed at an occupancy rate of 62%, reaching over 6 million people in total.
