Anglian Building Products completed a contract awarded by RTM Company Ltd, to replace windows and doors in 81 privately owned flats on the City Walks Estate in Bethnal Green, London. The refurbishment programme included the manufacture and installation of PVCu casement windows in 2 blocks of 4 storey high blocks of flats together with aluminium communal entrance doors and entry systems. Close liaison with residents was vital as work took place whilst they remained in their homes. Anglian assisted City Walk RTM with planning requirements; ensuring acceptable materials were used to replace the unusual pale blue timber original frames.
