Case Study City of Sacramento, CA Setting the City Standards Challenge: The City of Sacramento had been installing lead-acid battery backup systems at rail crossings and intersections with high traffi c and power issues. Over the course of time, the City found that eighty percent of these lead-acid battery backup systems were no longer working, with failures leading to potential hazmat issues.
