This program contained multiple proposed alternatives, among which were construction of a new reservoir (the Little River Reservoir project) and reallocation of conservation storage in Falls Reservoir.Project Outcomes and Benefits Hazen identi fied and developed a successful alternative to the proposed construction of a new reservoir for the City of Raleigh, avoiding major environmental, social, and economic impacts.
