City of Lewisville The City of Lewisville retained Cooksey to conduct a thorough audit of the city’s marketing communications program and resources, and to assess the continued effectiveness of the city’s branding in light of a new, long-term strategic plan. The carefully designed audit and analysis process included dozens of one-on-one interviews and focus groups with community stakeholders, reviews of resident surveys and other city communications materials, and benchmarking against the best practices of peer cities in Texas and beyond. Cooksey identified key gaps in Lewisville’s personnel allocations, existing communications opportunities that could be more effectively leveraged and a promotional strategy that would enhance visibility of the still-viable, relatively young brand.
