Project Snapshot City of Kelowna Official Community Plan Client: City of Kelowna General Location: Kelowna, CA As part of an initiative for sustainable planning, the update for the Kelowna Official Community Plan involved preparing a Sustainable Communities Strategy to illustrate four potential future development alternatives. Placeways modeled the four future plans using CommunityViz and a customized development allocation tool. Each scenario was analyzed and scored on measures for economic, social, environmental, transportation, health and wellness, water, community and cultural impacts.
